Mission, Purpose, & Values

About the Minnesota Organization for Habilitation and Rehabilitation (MOHR)

MOHR is a nonprofit association of 100 providers working to advance employment and a wide array of learning and enrichment services for people with disabilities. The organization uses the acronym, MOHR, to reflect the expansive and ever-changing role of member organizations to help people live as independently as possible.

Purpose

MOHR provides leadership, inspires excellence, engages in advocacy, and facilitates the success of members through collaboration, research, networking, awareness building, access to resources, and active participation in legislative and policy-making forums.

Guiding Principles

In support of Minnesotans with intellectual and developmental disabilities we serve, the guiding principles of MOHR embrace the following values:
